Mthatha – Tuesday, 27 November 2018 – First year Public Relations students of Walter Sisulu University (WSU), Mthatha Campus, visited the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA) on academic tour.

The visit to the Head Office of PRISA in Bryanston, Sandton, was an attempt to expose and give students of the developing Eastern Cape based university, a first-hand experience and an opportunity to get involved in different acts of the Public Relations profession.

Recently appointed Executive Director and former President of PRISA Mr Victor Sibeko gave the students first-hand account of what it is like being a Public Relations Practitioner in these changing times in South Africa.

Mr Sibeko also encouraged students to consider belonging to a professional body and register with PRISA as that may enhance their chances to interact with public relations practitioners from across Southern Africa and finding internship placements.
