The Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA) had a tete-a-tete with the Northern Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCI) in its endeavors to forge strategic partnership and enhance its value proposition.
PRISA’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Victor Sibeko, had a marathon meeting with his counterpart NOCCI’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ms. Sharon Steyn at the Kimberley offices.
Ms. Steyn was upbeat about NOCCI’s achievement and its 140 years of existence milestone. Sibeko was hosted by PRISA’s Northern Cape Chapter chairman and board member Mr. Gert Klopper.
“This meeting was part of my Meet & Greet, reaching out to PRISA members through the length and breadth of Southern Africa. Most importantly, to establish new contacts, build relationships and acquaint myself with real challenges in search of best strategic solutions as we rebuild and revive PRISA.” said Sibeko
The Northern Cape is the largest province and most sparsely populated in South Africa. It is not an easy region to travel and conduct business.
This by its nature it complicates collaborating efforts to reach all stakeholders.
With this joint effort this collaboration will enable the Chamber to make available to its members a broader base of training and development courses, programmes, workshops, seminars and related activities.
“Similarly, PRISA, in our efforts to broaden our footprint in the Northern Cape, reach our members recognises that a partnership with the Chamber will assist in achieving this intent.” said Sibeko in closing.
