 A brand that isn’t vibrant, engaging or alive does not deserve the moniker “brand”. Staid, conventional organisations and companies sometimes need to be brought back to life or activated. Thus it becomes a brand in the true sense of the term. As communicators, messages are formulated and delivered, yet are still met with a certain level of scepticism. Brand activation allows you the opportunity to provide proof in your public relations ‘pudding’ to your relevant target publics. If you have an appetite for improving your company’s brand and adding a little bit of spice to its brand experience, then this is the workshop for you.

This half day session intends to explore your creativity while introducing the basic principles of good branding. It will equip you with a sound understanding of what successful brand activation is and how to accomplish that in your own company. Interactive, informative and fun all rolled up into a bite-sized half day programme that will broaden your skills base.

As a result of participating effectively in this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand why building your brand is important and the factors that influence it
  • Have a ‘six-point’ plan to develop a good brand
  • Understand the value of branding and what elements will make yours the brand of choice
  • Build a brand map

Once you have been given the recipe, you too can stimulate your brand and showcase your creativity to effectively stage brand activations and seamlessly integrate all available communication means to a single platform.

About the speaker:
Bonny’s Best Buys was one of the longest running locally produced programmes on television. Bonny built the Best Buys brand into one of South Africa’s most well-known brands. Her philosophies on life and business are what have made her successful.
