Victor Sibeko is a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner (CPRP) and Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (FPRISA). As a past president of PRISA, he served for several years on the PRISA board. Prior to his presidency he served in various committees including the PRISA Council responsible for the profession’s Code of Ethics and Professional Standards.
Victor is a freelance consultant, public relations and communication management professional and a sought after speaker on various public relations subject matter. He has spoken at conferences in Mauritius, Nigeria Abuja and Lagos. Victor is enthusiastic about strategic management.
In 2006 and 2008 he was a judge of the PRISA PRISM Awards, Southern Africa's most prestigious awards for excellence in public relations and communication management projects. He is currently serving in the PRISA Legislation committee lobbying for legislation of the public relations profession. In 2009 and 2010 he served in the 2010 National Communication Partnership representing the public relations professional in the run up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Victor has worked on vast projects such as various Transnet national road shows, year-end functions, lifestyle and wellness days, open days, and product and business projects.
He recently joined The Mirror Group, a public relations consultancy as Chief Operations Officer (COO) with major accounts such as World Gospel Powerhouse that is responsible for Crowns Gospel Music Awards; Iziko Convention; Future Leaders Expo and the Youth Entrepreneurship conference. He also created a concept and established a brand ‘Woman to Woman with Zanele Mbokazi’. She is an astute Radio and Television personality, motivational speaker and author.
Victor has established himself as an accomplished public relations professional and lectures for ProVox Centre of Public Relations and Communication.
