This week, I mark one year as Global Alliance chair. I have had the opportunity to encounter public relations and communication practitioners and academics at events in North and South America, Europe and the Middle East, Asia and Australia -- and I will be in Africa next month.
I have learned more from my audiences than they have learned from me. It’s been a potent reminder that the challenges and opportunities for our profession are at once local and global – and that international collaboration is more critical than ever to each professional’s success.
