Wium Adendorff has been fulltime involved in the Integrated and Communications and Marketing field since 1994. He holds a Magister Artium in Political History (cum laude) 1996 - University of the Free State, a Management Development Programme Certificate 1997 - University of the Free State, he obtained his B.A. and B.A. Honors degrees 1991 and 1992 and he is currently enrolled for a Magister in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of the Free State.
 
Wium’s work experience started at the University of the Free State where he organised the University’s events, conferences, open days, campus visits from 1994-2000. One of his career highlights includes the African National Congress Conference, its’ first conference after the election of 1994.

In 2000 he started Z2A Communication Strategies and Z2A Conferences and Events. It focused on public relations disciplines, event management and conferences. In 2007 the Z2A group of companies – Z2A Village - was formed with Z2A Outdoor, focus on outdoor advertising. Z2A Creative focuses on design, branding and development of Corporate Identities.

Wium is a shareholder and director in each of these companies. Currently there are nine people involved in the business, with from time to time, students from South Africa, Belgium and the Netherlands. Z2A Events is a Level 2 accredited BBBEE company and Z2A Creative and Z2A Outdoor Level 4.

He is a member of the Advisory Committee for the School of Tourism, Hospitality & Sport of the Central University of Technology
