About our facilitator:
Francois Vorster is a digital specialist who focuses on business solutions in the digital space. He has headed up the strategy departments for global and local creative agencies and has been the digital head for a global media agency based in South Africa and run the company that provides the official digital currency in South Africa. He works in the digital strategic, creative, media and operational areas. As a teacher he is constantly updated with new digital analytics techniques and specialises in creating social and search and models which includes social value modelling attaching a rand cost to social metrics, followers, fans and engagers. Francois is about to complete his second global Master’s degree a MSc in global marketing with a focus on Social Networking leveraging his social networking expertise in B2B and B2C environments.
Currently Francois lectures, is a Director of AVATAR South Africa’s largest 100% black owned agency and is the MD of DigMe Digital Media. This provides him with insights into local digital user trends around site usage, site demographics, device usage and who is doing what and where in the online space.
